Are you a DEWA-approved electrical contractor?
Yes. AlphaStone is a DEWA-approved electrical contractor (and works to ADDC in Abu Dhabi), so we can design, submit, install, test and energise LV electrical installations in line with DEWA technical regulations.
Do you handle the DEWA approval and inspection process?
Yes. A DEWA NOC is required before work begins and a DEWA completion inspection before the installation can be energised. We prepare the load schedules and single-line diagrams, submit for approval, and coordinate the inspection and energisation.
What is the difference between first fix and second fix electrical?
First fix is the containment and wiring rough-in (tray, trunking, conduit, back-boxes and cables) installed before ceilings and partitions are closed. Second fix is fitting the accessories, light fittings and making final connections after the finishes are in.
What electrical testing do you carry out?
The full DEWA regime – insulation resistance (megger), earth continuity and earth-loop impedance, RCD operation and polarity – with results documented and signed by our DEWA-approved contractor before energisation.
Do you install LV panels and distribution boards?
Yes. We supply, install and terminate MDBs, sub-distribution boards (SMDB), LV panels, switchgear and busbar, sized from the approved load schedules and single-line diagrams.
Do you provide load schedules and single-line diagrams?
Yes. These are core DEWA deliverables and we prepare them as part of the design and submission.
Do you install standby generators and EV chargers?
Yes. We design and install standby generators, ATS and UPS, plus EV charger points, as part of the electrical scope.
