HD-over-coax (HD-TVI, AHD or HDCVI) is technology that carries HD and even 4K video over the ordinary coaxial cable used by older analog CCTV, giving a big quality jump without new wiring.
Can I upgrade my old CCTV without re-cabling?
Usually yes. We replace the cameras and recorder but keep your existing coax, which saves significant time and cost compared with a full IP re-wire.
How is HD-over-coax different from IP cameras?

What resolution can I get over coax?
