Is cloud footage secure?
Yes — footage is encrypted in transit and at rest, with access controls, user permissions and audit logs, so recordings are protected off-site and cannot be tampered with or lost if a local recorder is stolen or damaged.
What if my internet drops?
Cameras buffer recording locally during an outage and automatically upload to the cloud once the connection returns, so you do not lose footage when the internet drops.
Can I mix cloud and local recording?
Yes — hybrid recording keeps a local copy on an NVR plus a cloud backup, giving you fast local playback and off-site resilience, and letting you cloud-record only the most important cameras to manage cost.
Is SIRA approval handled for me?
Yes — we design to SIRA (Dubai) and ADMCC (Abu Dhabi) standards and manage the approval process where required.
How long is CCTV footage stored?
By default we configure a minimum of 31 days of footage retention in line with SIRA requirements, and size storage to your site category and how long you need recordings kept. Longer retention is available where regulations or your own policy require it.
Can I watch the cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up secure live and playback viewing from your phone, tablet and desktop, with multi-site access and optional cloud recording — so you can check any camera from anywhere, with role-based access for your team.
